Fitzgerald Kitchens currently has open positions for Cabinet Maker Apprentices to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in a career in the woodworking field to learn important skills and hands-on training with experienced professionals and a dedicated team.

Requirements:

Experience with hand tools
Some experience with woodworking

The following experience is a plus but not a must:

Working with solid wood
Hands-on cabinetry work experience
Wood working machinery
Full Drivers Licence would be preferred

Responsibilities Include:

While being trained, you will be working closely with our experienced team to learn, and assist with:

Building kitchen units
Assembling all types of cabinets and other production woodwork
Reading blueprints and drawings
Sanding and routing woodwork
Preparing, organizing and maintaining material, product and tools necessary for assembly.
Maintaining consistent fast-paced work flow to help meet project deadlines
Reviewing drawings to ensure product, accessories and components are ready for assembly
Setting up machines
Assisting our team with miscellaneous tasks as needed
Possible Finishing department training (sanding, spraying, etc.)

Working Hours 8am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
